The Admission Journey

1. Registration

  • The admission procedure at S D Heritage Pride School is designed to be simple and stress-free for all prospective parents.
  • The duly filled registration form should be submitted to the school office within the prescribed time limit.
  • The date of the entrance exam/interview will be shared with the applicant at the time of registration form submission.
  • A non-refundable registration fee must be paid to complete the registration process.

2. Selection Procedure

At S D Heritage Pride School, we believe in a fair, transparent, and child-centric admission process designed to identify every learner’s potential.

Class: Nursery to II
  • Admission is granted on the basis of age criteria and interaction with parents subject to availability of seats.
  • For Nursery: The child should be 3+ years by 31st March of the academic year he/she is seeking admission in.
Class: III to IX and XI
  • Admission is granted on the basis of merit in the Entrance Examination, which assesses proficiency in English, Mathematics, and Logical Reasoning.
  • Selection is based purely on the minimum cut-off marks decided by the school.
  • For Class XI, the admission process begins after the declaration of Grade X Board Examination results..
  • Provisional admissions may be offered initially and are confirmed upon submission of required documents and payment of the applicable fee after the Board results are announced.

Yes, SDHPS offers GPS-enabled buses equipped with CCTV surveillance and female attendants for enhanced student safety.

Parents must submit a written notice or send an email to the school’s official email ID at least one month in advance (before the 10th of the month). If the notice is not given in time, one month’s fee will be charged in lieu of notice.

The medium of instruction is English. Hindi is taught as the second language. From Grade V onwards, students can choose French or Sanskrit as an additional language.

Summer Timings:
• Nursery: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM
• Junior KG & Senior KG: 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM
• Grade I & above: 8:00 AM – 2:20 PM

Winter Timings:
• Nursery: 9:00 AM – 1:30 PM
• Junior KG & Senior KG: 8:30 AM – 1:30 PM
• Grade I & above: 8:30 AM – 2:40 PM

The admission fee must be paid within two days of receiving the offer of admission from the school. The fee once paid is non-refundable.

A concession equivalent to one month’s composite fee (March 2027) for the sibling(s) will be waived off. This benefit is applicable to both existing students and new admissions. In the case of three children, the sibling concession will be applicable to the two younger students.

• Nursery to Senior KG: Admission is based on age eligibility and an interaction with the child and parents to assess readiness and expectations. Admission is subject to seat availability.
• Classes I & II: Admission is based on a written assessment followed by an interaction with the child and parents. Admission is subject to seat availability and age eligibility.
• Classes III to IX: Admission is based on performance in the Entrance Assessment (English, Mathematics, Logical Reasoning) and an interaction with the child and parents. Selection is subject to meeting the school’s cut-off criteria.
• Class XI: Provisional admission is granted based on performance in the Entrance Assessment and an interaction with the child and parents. Final admission is confirmed after verification of Class X Board results.

The registration fee is ₹500 (Five hundred rupees only) and is non-refundable.

Parents can register in two ways:
• Online: By visiting the school’s official website and completing the registration form this link.
• Offline: By visiting the school reception on any working day between 8:00 AM and 3:00 PM and filling out the registration form in person.

Registration for new admissions at SDHPS begins on the first Monday of October for the upcoming academic session.

As per CBSE guidelines, the child’s age is calculated as on 31st March of the academic session for which admission is sought. The required ages are:
• Nursery: 3 years
• Junior KG: 4 years
• Senior KG: 5 years
• Class I: 6 years and above
